Detailed Purchase Terms – The 72 Co

When you make a purchase, a contract is established between the seller and the buyer—regardless of whether the purchase takes place online or in a physical store. Certain rules and terms always apply. These conditions exist to protect your rights as a consumer. Below you can read the full terms and conditions for shopping at The 72 Co. Happy shopping!

Customer Agreement – The 72 Co

The following terms govern the relationship between The 72 Co and Swedish consumers regarding online sales:


Registration

To purchase products from The 72 Co, you must register during the checkout process. You must be at least 18 years old to register.

You will be asked to provide the following:

  • Name

  • Postal address

  • Phone number

  • Email address


Orders

A binding purchase agreement is only established once The 72 Co confirms your order via email.


Order Confirmation

Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an email receipt/confirmation to the address provided at checkout. This email is sent automatically and includes the items ordered, quantities, unit prices, total amount, and delivery address.

Please print this email as a receipt for your records.

We unfortunately cannot modify existing orders. If you wish to add products, please place a new order.

Fraudulent orders will be reported to the police.


Prices

The prices shown in The 72 Co’s webshop apply at the time of your order. All prices include VAT. You cannot order items at any price other than the current daily price. The 72 Co reserves the right to change any listed prices without prior notice.

All price listings are subject to potential technical or typographical errors, as well as out-of-stock items.


Shipping & Delivery

Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days and shipped within 2–5 business days in Sweden.

Shipping costs are displayed at checkout before payment is made.

You will receive an order confirmation and tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

We apply flat-rate shipping within Sweden:

  • SEK 39 (6% VAT for books)

  • SEK 46 if your order contains items with 25% VAT

Unclaimed packages will be charged a fee for return shipping and handling (minimum SEK 75). Customs duties may apply for orders outside the EU. Estimated delivery time: 1–2 weeks within Sweden.

For other destinations, shipping will be charged according to current postal rates.


Payment Terms

All delivered products remain the property of The 72 Co until full payment has been received.

Payment for card purchases is processed securely through our payment partner Worldline (Bambora).

The amount will be charged at the time of purchase.

We accept major debit and credit cards, and you will need to provide card type, card number, CVC, and billing information. All card data is transmitted securely and is never stored by The 72 Co.

For invoice payments (when available), payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date (earliest delivery date). Late payments are subject to reminder fees and statutory interest charges in accordance with Swedish law.

Direct bank payments are handled via encrypted connections to your bank, following the same security standards as regular online banking.

Privacy & Data Protection

We only collect and share personal data required to process your order — such as your name, address, email, and payment details.

These are shared only with trusted partners (for example, our payment provider Worldline and shipping companies) when necessary to complete your purchase.

We never sell or disclose personal information to third parties for marketing or any other unrelated purpose.

Invoice Payment

Payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date (earliest delivery date). A payment slip is included with the package. Late payments are subject to reminder fees and interest charges.

The reminder fee is SEK 45 (in accordance with Swedish law). Interest is charged at the statutory rate (currently the base rate + 8 percentage points). If payment is still not received, the case is transferred to the Swedish Enforcement Authority.

Card Payment

We accept major debit and credit cards. You will need to provide card type, card number, CVC, and your personal and address information. Payment is debited directly from your card upon order.

All card data is transmitted securely and is never stored in our database.

Direct Bank Payment

You must be a customer of a participating bank. At checkout, you will be redirected to your bank where the amount will be withdrawn after your approval.

All communication is encrypted and secure, similar to regular online banking.


Delivery

Estimated delivery time: 1–2 weeks.
Products are usually sent as letters or parcels directly to your address.

The 72 Co is not responsible for any indirect damages caused by delayed or missing deliveries.


Returns, Exchanges & Right of Withdrawal

The 72 Co follows the Swedish Distance Selling Act, which provides a 14-day return policy. Contact customer service at order@the72co.com for return instructions. You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and include all original documentation. Sealed items such as CDs cannot be returned if the seal is broken. Returns sent without prior contact or using unapproved methods will not be accepted.


Claims & Complaints

In the case of:

  • Incorrect item

  • Wrong quantity

  • Damaged or defective goods

Contact The 72 Co within 10 days of receiving your order. We will provide a return shipping label. Your own shipping costs (if applicable) will be reimbursed once the return is processed and approved. Do not return items using cash on delivery.

Visible transport damage must be reported immediately upon receipt or within 7 days.

In accordance with Swedish consumer law, you have a 3-year right to make a complaint (reklamationsrätt) for products that are defective or faulty. This applies to goods purchased within Sweden and covers manufacturing or material defects not caused by misuse or normal wear and tear.


Unclaimed Orders

If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected, we reserve the right to charge for all return-related costs (minimum SEK 75). Payment must be made within 20 days of the invoice date.


Invoice

Keep the invoice included with your delivery. It serves as proof of receipt.

Additional Terms

The 72 Co is not liable for any delays or damages beyond what is stated above. Consumers retain all rights according to the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act (1990:932). Terms are subject to change without notice.

We are responsible for the item until it reaches you. If you return a product, you are responsible for it during return transit unless instructed otherwise by customer service.

All product and pricing information is subject to change and error.

In the event of a dispute, we follow the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
